Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General (Technical) in Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping-04 Posts

(For SC-01,for OBC-02 posts  and for UR-01 Post)

Educational qualification : Certificate of competency of marine Engineer Officer Class-I or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum five year experience at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.

Desirable qualification : Minimum one year experience in survey and inspection of merchant ship.

Probation Period-The probation period is one year.

Nature of Posts-These posts are permanent.

Pay Scale-Rs.15600-39100 (Pay Band-3) + Rs.7600 ( Grade pay) (T.E. Rs. 44,080/-),+ TA and HRA.
