Educational qualification : Certificate of competency of
marine Engineer Officer Class-I or equivalent.
Experience : Minimum five year experience at sea of which
one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
Desirable qualification : Minimum one year experience in
survey and inspection of merchant ship.
Probation Period-The probation period is one year.
