Notice for the Post of Naib Tehsildary

HPSC (Haryana Public Service Commission) issued a notification It is hereby announced for the general information of the candidates who have applied for the posts of Naib Tehsildar in Revenue Department, Haryana against Advt. No. 5 published on 25/09/2013 in various newspapers. Now the Commission has decided to shortlist the candidates for interview by holding a Screening Test of the candidates for this post on 27/07/2014 (Sunday) from 11AM to 01 AM at Chandigarh, Panchkula and Ambala.

2. Further it is also informed that on the basis of marks obtained in the screening test,

four time candidates against the number of Advertised posts in order of merit including

bracketed candidates, if any, will be called for interview, subject to the fulfillment of all

eligibility conditions as advertised. The question paper will be of multiple choices and the

standard of the question paper for these posts will be of the level of Essential Educational

Qualifications prescribed for the respective post. It will consists General Science, Current

Events of National & International importance, History of India & Indian National

Movement, Indian & World Geography, Indian Culture, Indian Polity & Indian

Economy, General Mental Ability, Haryana-Economy & people, Social, Economic &

Cultural institutions and language of Haryana. The screening test will be of two hours

duration. The question paper comprising of 100 questions and will be of 100 marks.

There will be no negative marking.

3. The Screening test will be of qualifying nature and marks obtained in the screening

test will not be given any weightage for final selection.

The Admit cards for the Screening test will be available on Commission’s website

after 14.07.2014 and candidates can download the same from the Commission’s website i.e.

www.hpsconline.in.
