State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab will hold the next Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) on 28/12/2013.

Fee : general Rs.500/-

SC/ST Rs. 300/-,

 Ex-serviceman (self)- NO charge

Receiving Application Last Date  : 16 Dec. 2013

Admit Card Upload (Online) : 18 Dec.2013

written Examination Date : 20 Nov.2013 (Saturday)

Time :  PSTET-II ( Morning) and   PSTET-I  (Evening) 

Minimum Qualification:

The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for Appearing in PSTET.

Minimum Qualifications for Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):10+2 passed  with 50% marks and passed and  Appearing in final year of  Two  year Diploma in Elementary Education 

                                                                      or

10+2 passed  with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of  4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education .

                                                                      or

10+2 passed  with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Special Education.

                                                                       or

B.A and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education .

Minimum Qualification for Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of Two year Diploma in Elementary Education .

                                                                   or

B.A  with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in One year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

                                                                   or

B.A  with 45% marks and passed or appearing in One year B.Ed, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard./

10+2 with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Two year Bachelor in Elementary Education .

                                                                   or

10+2 passed  with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed / B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

                                                              or

B.A with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in One year B.Ed.

Examination Fee: Only Paper I &  II- General / OBC Category- 500 /-

 SC / ST Category-Rs. 300 /-

 Both Paper I & II- Rs. 1000 /- SC / ST Category  Rs. 600 /-
